| PRODUCT OR SERVICE DESCRIPTION |
Document Scanning Service, LLC is an extension of the technology developed and implemented by a National Committee of Quality Assurance certified Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) which was completely paperless by 1995. Due to requirements from NCQA, JCAHO, URAC, and AAAHC and the volume of paperwork received our paperless system was developed with policy and procedures detailing the process. This allowed files to be emailed or copied to CD / DVD for auditing purposes.
The next step was necessitated by recent changes in HIPAA (HITECH & encryption in motion) and constant modifications of other standards.
The searchable .pdf format has eliminated significant amounts of time in researching any document. The capacity and capability of using the computer to search for verbiage helps the reader find all required words in a document.
