SitOnIt Seating, a privately held company, was founded in January 1996. Since then, the company has grown tremendously, outgrowing its first two facilities. SitOnIt Seating will be moving into a 230,000 square foot manufacturing facility in 2009 with a 30,000 square foot corporate headquarters located near the facility.

All products are manufactured on site, on a made-to-order basis. Currently, SitOnIt Seating produces more than 2,300 office seating products daily, more than 600,000 annually.

All products are distributed nationally and exclusively through a network of authorized office furniture dealers.

Because SitOnIt Seating has developed manufacturing processes utilizing just-in-time inventory techniques, flow-based manufacturing, no work-in-process inventory and immediate invoicing, the company can ship any product in its catalog for quick delivery. This unique manufacturing process has propelled SitOnIt Seating to the number one position in its market segment.

SitOnIt Seating currently employs more than 350 people.
